Eng Teknologi surges to 16-months high

Eng Teknologi Holdings Bhd, a Malaysian electronic components maker, jumped the most in 16 months after saying some major shareholders are in talks on a proposal that may lead to the company being privatized.
The stock surged 8.3 per cent to RM1.95 at 3 p.m. local time, set for its steepest gain since March 10, 2010. -- Bloomberg
