Oil&gas stocks up on Goldman upgrade
KNM Group Bhd and Ramumia Holdings Bhd led Malaysian oil and gas services stocks higher in Kuala Lumpur trading after Goldman Sachs upgraded the Southeast Asian nation to “overweight” on expectations it will benefit from higher crude prices.
KNM climbed 3.1 per cent to RM1.98 at 11:54 a.m. local time, set for its highest close since April 1.
Ramunia gained 2.2 per cent to 47 sen, while Dialog Group Bhd rose 1.1 per cent to RM2.79. -- Bloomberg
