World Markets
North and South American markets are higher today with shares in Brazil leading the region. The Bovespa is up 0.84% while U.S.'s S&P 500 is up 0.47% and Mexico's IPC is up 0.45%.

NEW YORK (CNNMoney) -- U.S. stocks rose Tuesday, following a recent string of losses, as investors await comments from Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke about the state of the economy.
The Dow Jones industrial average (INDU) rose 70 points, or 0.7%, after about two hours of trading. The S&P 500 (SPX) added 7 points, or 0.6%, and the Nasdaq (COMP) gained 12 points, or 0.4%.

The gains were relatively broad-based, with only five of the Dow's 30 components in the red. Alcoa (AA, Fortune 500) and Intel (INTC, Fortune 500) led the blue-chip index higher, while Cisco (CSCO, Fortune 500) was the main drag.
Stocks fell Monday as investors weighed losses in the financial sector with recent downbeat economic data.
Nick Kalivas, vice president of financial research at MF Global, said the market was due for a rebound.
"For the most part, the market has been getting beat up over the last few days and now it's taking a rest," he said.
The Dow and S&P 500 have both declined about 5% since the start of May amid a series of disappointing economic reports.
"There are worries that the U.S. economy is sputtering and global economic growth is slowing," said David Jones, chief market strategist at IG Markets.
In addition, the Federal Reserve's $600 billion stimulus will run out later this month.
