OCK Group IPO oversubscribed by 8.3x

OCK Group Bhd's initial public offering (IPO) of seven million new
shares in conjunction with its listing on the Ace Market of Bursa
Malaysia has been oversubscribed by 8.3 times.
Malaysia Issuing House Sdn Bhd, on behalf of OCK, said 3.5 million
shares allotted under the public category has been oversubscribed by
13.39 times while another 3.5 million shares under the Bumiputera
category were oversubscribed by 3.2 times.
It said 58.5 million new shares made available for placement to selected investors had also been fully placed out.
"Balloting of successful applicants was conducted this afternoon.
"All Notices of Allotment for these shares will be mailed to successful
applicants on or before July 16," it said in a statement today. --
