Maxis launches online, mobile ads platform (6012)

Maxis Bhd has launched the Maxis Best Integrated Go-To-Market (B.I.G)
Media that offers advertisers an opportunity to reach out to its large
customer base through a one-stop shop for both online and mobile
advertising.

Maxis B.I.G. Media integrates multiple digital
platforms that enable advertisers to target consumers with content
tailored to the specific interest of consumers in a cost effective
manner, it said in a statement today.

Its Head of Product,
Device, Innovation and Roaming T. Kugan said the platform reinforces
Maxis' positioning as the leading integrated communications service
provider by offering an unique, interactive one-stop digital platform
for advertisers.

"Global mobile advertising revenue is growing
at a rapid pace and in Malaysia specifically, we believe that mobile
marketing is on the verge of a new era, promising huge potential for
advertisers," he added.

The advertising platforms integrated
under Maxis B.I.G. Media include myDeals, myLaunchpad, Text alerts and
Mobile banners, which is currently available on Maxis' mobile portal.
