Parkson to acquire RM98m land in Melaka (5657)

KUALA LUMPUR: Parkson Holdings Bhd, via its wholly-owned
subsidiary Megan Mastika Sdn Bhd, is acquiring six hectares of land in Melaka Tengah district for RM98 million.
In a filing to Bursa Malaysia, the company said the proposed acquisition is expected to be completed by December this year.
The
proposed acquisition will see the group developing a shopping mall at a
strategic location in Melaka amongst the famous tourist attractions and
in an area planned for mixed development with the advantage of a sea
frontage. -- BERNAMA
