KUALA LUMPUR (March 14): Konsortium ProHawk Sdn Bhd, a 65% owned unit of UEM Group Bhd, has inked a RM848 million agreement with the Government of Malaysia to construct a 600-bed, 12-storey women and children’s hospital.
The project, targeted to start in September this year, will be located within the vicinity of Hospital Kuala Lumpur. It is due to be completed in 2016.
Facilties will include a child development centre, paediatric specialist clinics, a women’s health centre, shops and a 20-room hotel.
Konsortium ProHawk Sdn. Bhd. is a special purpose vehicle and joint venture company of UEM Group Berhad (65%) and Najcom Sdn. Bhd. (35%).
