KUALA LUMPUR (May 14): IOI Corp Bhd is expected to price the offer for sale shares under the proposed listing of IOI PROPERTIES [] Group Sdn Bhd "at a deep discount of about 30%" to the latter's issue price, group executive chairman Tan Sri Lee Shin Cheng said.
"The restricted offer for sale will be offered to shareholders at a deep discount of about 30%," Lee said at a press conference today.
Apart from the offer for sale, IOI Corp also proposed to make a distribution-in-specie of 2.16 billion new shares in IOI Properties to the former's shareholders.
The issue price for the property unit will be disclosed at a later date, said Lee.
