Buyers confirm interest in Mah Sing's project

MAH Sing Group Bhd said purchasers have confirmed their interest by
pre-selecting 446 units of serviced residences valued at about RM261
million during the preview of The Meridin@Medini project in Iskandar
Malaysia.
The developer said upon the official launch of the project, these registrants are assured of their choice unit.
All the units were snapped up within five hours, Mah Sing said in a statement yesterday.
"This
shows interest for properties and reflects investor confidence in the
product, concept, location and the Mah Sing brand name," group managing
director and chief executive officer Tan Sri Leong Hoy Kum said in a
statement.
About 65 per cent of the units were taken up by
Malaysians while the rest were taken up by foreign investors from
Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and Indonesia.
Spanning
across 12.86ha of land,32 acres The Meridin@Medini integrated project
comprises residence suites, corporate towers, Small Office Versatile
Offices and retail units.
