KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 2): Malaysian Resources Corporation Bhd (MRCB) has announced the appointment of Gapurna Group’s managing director Datuk Mohamad Salim Fateh Din as MRCB’s new managing director.
Mohamad Salim, 56, is a substantial shareholder and MD of Gapurna Sdn Bhd, who in turn holds 12.5% stake in MRCB.
Apart from owning and managing the CONSTRUCTION [], property, investment and property development businesses through Gapurna, Mohamad Salim is known as pioneer who customised and built 'Super Store' concept petrol stations for leading oil companies in Malaysia, according to an announcement on Bursa Malaysia today.
He has also successfully re-engineered and consulted on the design of the Sepang distribution centre for a well-known hypermarket in Malaysia, which has modernised and improved its food-processing.
Mohamad Salim, currently has a directorship at British American Tobacco Bhd.
