KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 23): Protasco Bhd has been appointed by Putrajaya Corp to construct 1,680 apartment units in Putrajaya under the 1Malaysia Civil Servants Housing Programme (PPA1M).

In a statement, Protasco said the project, estimated to cost RM578.5 million, was expected to be completed within twenty four months and contribute positively to the future earnings of the company.

The company said the project would not have any material impact on the net assets and earnings of the Protasco Group for the financial year ended Dec 31, 2013. -- BERNAMA
