KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 18): Takaso Resources Bhd suspended the trading of its shares today to verify a report that said Carlyle Group was buying over the company.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, the company said it has requested for a suspension of trading of its securities and warrants for one day on 18 November.

The request for suspension is to enable the company to investigate and verify an article last week entitled “Carlyle Group to acquire Takaso?”, it added.
