Petronas job for Tanjung Offshore

PETALING JAYA: Tanjung Offshore Bhd has secured a RM50mil contract from Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd to provide three offshore support vessels for total charter contracts of periods ranging between one and three years.
The company told Bursa Malaysia that its unit Tanjung Offshore Services Sdn Bhd was awarded the contract to provide the ships for the primary period from June to July respectively with options to extend between one and two years.
Tanjung Offshore expected the long-term contracts to contribute positively to group earnings and net assets for the financial years ending Dec 31, 2011 and beyond.
