KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 4): Former corporate high flyer Tan Sri Khoo Kay Peng
saw the resignation of his chief financial officer (CFO) Ho Chun Fuat from his
three locally-listed companies.
Ho, 46, also resigned yesterday as joint company secretary from Malayan
United Industries Bhd (MUI), Pan Malaysia Holdings Bhd and MUI Properties
Bhd.
In separate announcements to Bursa Malaysia, the three companies said Ho’s
reason for resignation is to “pursue other career opportunities”.
They added there were “no” disagreements between Ho and the board of
directors.
While MUI is a profit-making concern, Pan Malaysia and MUI Properties
incurred net losses in their latest quarterly results.
Khoo was a corporate high flyer in the 1970s and 1980s but has since stayed
off the limelight.
