KUALA LUMPUR (Mar 24): JAKS Resources Bhd, through its subsidiary JAKS Sdn Bhd, has been awarded the Package D43 contract for the design and construction of a sewerage pipe network by the Ministry of Energy, Green Technology & Water.

The contract is valued at RM339.3 million, for a duration of four years.

The sewerage pipe network will be constructed at Batu, Jinjang Kepong, Kuala Lumpur and is expected to be completed by April 2018.

“The contract is expected to contribute positively to the revenue and earnings of JAKS Group for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2014 and the following financial years within the duration of the Contract,” said the group.
