Though revenue grew exponentially between FY2010 and FY2013, TMS remained in net loss position. Upon acquiring Viewnet Computer System Sdn Bhd and Open Adventure Sdn Bhd, its revenue for FY2013 increased 188.2%.
For FY2014, TMS’ revenue increased 12.6% to RM256.88 million, while net loss was reduced to RM1.48 million from RM5.51 million.
TMS has proposed a share capital reduction and share consolidation exercise. Effectively, a shareholder holding two shares of 10 sen par value each will see the par value of his shares halved from 10 sen to 5 sen, and consolidated back into one share of 10 sen.
After the exercise, net assets per share will rise from 8 sen to 17 sen, slightly above the current cost of 13 sen, based on 2 shares at the share price of 6.5 sen.
