HLIB Research maintains Buy on MISC, ups target to RM10.06
By theedgemarkets.com / theedgemarkets.com | November 5, 2015 : 8:28 AM MYTKUALA LUMPUR (Nov 5): [size=16]Hong Leong IB Research has maintained its “Buy” rating on MISC Bhd ([You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Valuation: 1.40, Fundamental: 2.30) with a higher target price of RM10.06 (from RM9) and said MISC reported 3Q15 core profit at RM696.7 million and 9M15 at RM2 billion, achieving 76.1% of HLIB’s forecast for FY15.
In a note today, the research house said strong earnings contribution from Petroleum tanker on high charter rates.
It said that leveraging on the growing momentum, MISC had contracted for the construction of 8 new fleets for expansion.
“LNG contribution dropped in 3Q15 on 5 off-charters and 2 cold-layoffs.
“Expect earnings improvement in following quarters on resumption of Puteri class contract extension and new contribution from Petronas LNG contract.
“Maintain Buy with higher target price of RM10.06 (from RM9.00) based on SOP,” it said.
