Petronas Gas awards job to Energy Solutions

Energy Solutions International (ESI), together with a Malaysian partner, has been selected to supply solutions for a gas management system of the Petronas Gas Transmission Pipeline project, owned by Petronas Gas Bhd (PGB).

The proposed solution is based on an integrated set of ESI applications namely, PipelineStudio, PipelineManager, PipelineTransporter, TransactionManager and PipelineDashboard.

"The deployment and delivery of the solution will be led by Sedia Teguh Sdn Bhd, who is the ESI agent in Malaysia," ESI said in a statement today.

PGB provides piped gas to end users in the power, industrial and commercial sectors in Peninsular Malaysia and power plants in Singapore via its Peninsular Gas Utilisation (PGU) system.

The PGU pipeline system is more than 2,500km long and a major component of PGB Gas operations. The pipeline system has essentially two major inlet areas, with three gas sources.
