By Tan Siew Mung / theedgemarkets.com | April 21, 2016 : 10:23 PM MYTKUALA LUMPUR (April 21): O&C Resources Bhd saw 10 million shares or a 4.7% stake traded off market today, for a total value of RM5 million.
According to Bloomberg data, the shares were moved in four blocks via direct business transaction at 50 sen per share.
The counter closed the day one sen or 2.04% higher at 50 sen. Volume was 246,200 shares, giving it a market capitalisation of RM105.76 million.
The buyers and sellers of the shares were not immediately known.
Bloomberg data showed OCR Land Holdings Sdn Bhd and Nextplus Fortune Sdn Bhd being O&C Resources’ two major shareholders, holding 14.76% and 13.97% interest respectively.
In February, Lay Hong Bhd announced it had signed a share sale agreement with O&C Resources, Ong Kah Hoe, Yong Mong Huay and Su Seong Yeen, for the acquisition of the entire share base of Takaso SC (Thailand) Ltd for RM8.5 million.
