China Steel evaluating Megasteel investment

China Steel Corp is still evaluating investment in Malaysia’s Megasteel
Sdn Bhd, the Kaohsiung, Taiwan-based company said in a statement to the
local stock exchange today.

The comments came after the Taipei-based Economic Daily News today
reported the Taiwanese steel maker plans to invest NT$10 billion in
Megasteel, without saying where it got the information. -- Bloomberg
