Notion VTEC rises after Q3 profit triples

Notion VTEC Bhd, a Malaysian metal processor and tools maker, rose to a one-week high after fiscal third-quarter profit more than tripled to RM10.1 million.

The stock gained 1.5 per cent to RM1.98 at 9:18 a.m. local time in Kuala Lumpur trading, set for its highest close since Aug. 4. -- Bloomberg
