BII first-half net profit up 13%
PETALING JAYA: Malayan Banking Bhd's (Maybank) Indonesian subsidiary PT Bank Internasional Indonesia Tbk (BII) recorded a 13% increase in net profit for the first six months of the year to 367 billion rupiah (RM128.1mil) from a year earlier.
Maybank said in a statement that it was achieved on the back of growth across business segments and the bank's overall operational improvements.
The bank posted a 26% consolidated loan growth year-on-year to 59.5 trillion rupiah in the first half-year ended June 30.
