Opcom shares jump to 6-year high

Opcom Holdings Bhd, a Malaysian supplier of fiber optic cables, rose to a six-year high in Kuala Lumpur trading after the company said its shares will go ex- dividend on Sept. 14.
It earlier declared a special dividend of 22.5 sen per share.
The stock jumped 26.4 per cent to RM1.03 at 9:07 a.m. local time, set for its highest close since Aug. 8, 2005. -- Bloomberg
