Auto stocks fall on car sector downgrade
Malaysian auto stocks, led by DRB- Hicom Holdings Bhd, fell in Kuala Lumpur trading after RHB Captial Bhd downgraded the industry to “underweight” from “neutral”.
DRB dropped 2.2 percent to RM1.78 at 9:30 a.m. local time, while UMW Holdings Bhd declined 1.3 percent to RM6.61, set for its lowest close since Sept. 17. -- Bloomberg
