MMHE unit secures Telok Gas devt project from Exxon
KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia Marine and Heavy Engineering Holdings Bhd’s unit has secured a contract for the Teluk gas development project by ExxonMobil Exploration and Production Malaysia Inc. (EMEPMI).
It said on Tuesday, Oct 18 the scope of work included the CONSTRUCTION [] to commissioning of two top sides and two jackets to support the platforms.
MMHE said the Telok A and Telok B gas satellite platform had and estimated topside weight of 1,750 tonnes and 1,650 tonnes respectively. Production from Telok A and B would be tied back t the existing Guntong E gas platform.
The Telok gas development project is to provide additional gas supplies to the country. It is one of the entry point projects under the Economic Transformation Programme.
