Batu Kawan jumps on higher Q4 profit

Batu Kawan Bhd rose the most in more than a year in Kuala Lumpur trading after its fourth- quarter profit climbed to RM236 million from RM148.2 million a year earlier.
The stock jumped 3.5 percent to RM16.76 at 9:10 a.m., set for its biggest gain since Oct. 18, 2010. -- Bloomberg
