Malaysian banks outlook 'stable': Fitch

The outlook for Malaysian banks is expected to remain “stable” even if a
fresh global economic slowdown emerges, Fitch Ratings Ltd said in a
report today. The likelihood of significant capital impairment risks for
Malaysian banks is “fairly low” due to their “satisfactory”
loss-absorption and risk management, along with a “prudent” regulatory
