K-One sustains RM13m damages after factory gutted
KUALA LUMPUR: K-One Technology Bhd (K-One) sustained more than RM13mil in damages after one of its factories in Silibin industrial estate, Ipoh, was gutted on Tuesday.
K-One said on Thursday the preliminary estimate of damages comprised of raw materials, work-in-progress, finished goods, own brand products, machines and building. However, the loss impact was mitigated by insurance coverage, it added.
“The management has taken immediate action to recover finished goods lost in the fire incident by replacement production in the main factory. Hence, we expect to meet all customer deliveries and orders in the quickest time possible,” it said.
