WCT arm bags RM73m civil works contract
WCT Bhd's wholly-owned subsidiary, WCT Construction Sdn Bhd, has secured a RM72.814 million industrial civil works contract.
The contract comprises among others, piling works, foundation of conveyors, sampling towers, pipe and cable racks, pump house foundation and related works, at VMM's Minerals Project in Teluk Rubiah, Perak.
Work is expected to be completed in 18 months and contribute positively to the group's earnings and net assets for the financial years 2012 and 2013, the company said in a statement to Bursa Malaysia. -- BERNAMA
