Benalec & Rotary sign MoU extension pact

Benalec Holdings Bhd and Rotary Engineering Lts today signed an agreement to further extend, an existing memorandum of understanding to develop an independent storage terminal for oil
products in Tanjung Piai, Johor.
The MoU, which was signed on Dec 8, 2011, will be extended for six months from June 8 to December 7, 2011.
The MoU enables Benalex, via its subsidiary, to become a strategic business partner with Rotary in the equity ownership and development of the first independent deepwater storage terminal project.
In a filing to Bursa Malaysia, Benalec said the extension was in view of the positive outcome of the corporation activities carried out between both parties. -- BERNAMA
