KUALA LUMPUR (May 8): Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd has issued an unusual market activity (UMA) on Raya International Bhd over the unusual rise in price in its shares recently.

The regulator had on Thursday, May 8, directed the company to issue a statement for public release after making due enquiry with its directors and major shareholders for the cause of the UMA in the company’s shares.

At 11.20am, Raya rose 7.32% or 1.5 sen to 22 sen with 2.46 million shares done.
