Tanah Makmur unit gets LOI to build complex

KUALA LUMPUR: Kreatif Sinar Gabungan Sdn Bhd, a 65%-owned subsidiary of Tanah Makmur Bhd and a 30%-owned associate of Gabungan AQRS Bhd ([You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Financial Dashboard), has received a letter of intent (LOI) from the Pahang state government to build the Sultan Ahmad Shah state administrative complex in Kuantan.
In separate filings with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, Tanah Makmur and Gabungan AQRS said Kreatif Sinar Gabungan had on Monday accepted the LOI signed by Pahang Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Adnan Yaakob.
Among the terms of the LOI are that Kreatif Sinar Gabungan has to comply and implement all matters included in the non-conformance schedule as agreed during the pre-preparation letter of acceptance workshop held from Sept 3 to 5 this year.
It was also stated that 30% of the works for the project are to be awarded to bumiputera contractors from Pahang.
