KUALA LUMPUR (May 29): [size=14]Efficient E-Solutions Bhd ([You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Financial Dashboard) gained as much as 7.5% after announcing that its first quarter net profit jumped 65.51% from a year earlier.


The software company (fundamental: 1.5; valuation: 0.7) rose as much as two sen to 28.5 sen earlier in today’s morning market trade. At 9.58am, Efficient traded at 27.5 sen with some 4.39 million shares traded, making it one of the most active stocks in the bourse.

Yesterday, Efficient said that its net profit for the quarter jumped to RM2.62 million from RM1.58 million last year, to which it attributed to the increase of revenue from the services rendered for the data and document processing.

“The Group revenue for the financial period ended 31 March 2015 increased by 19% to RM14.3 million as compared to preceding year corresponding period of RM12.0 million,” it said.
