Insas’ Thong trims stake in Omesti
KUALA LUMPUR (June 4): Substantial shareholder Datuk Thong Kok Khee has sold some 2.55 million shares inOmestic Bhd, after the company's share price leapt to one year-high of 75 sen from 49 sen, a gain of 53% in just seven trading days.
According to several filings on Bursa Malaysia, Thong started selling Omesti shares when it rallied to 75 sen on May 29 when he disposed of 700,000 shares at 69.5 sen on the open market.
The next day, he sold 1.75 million shares in Omestic (fundamental: 1.05; valuation: 0.3) at 71 sen and another block of 100,000 share at 68 sen on the following day.
After the latest share sales, Thong holds an indirect interest of 11.38% or 44.10 million shares in the company through Insas Bhd ([You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Financial Dashboard).
Omesti share price closed at 68 sen today, giving it a market capitalisation of RM265.5 million.
