Amy Winehouse found dead in apartment

LONDON: Singer Amy Winehouse was found dead at her apartment in London Saturday, the UK Press Association reported. She was 27.
The troubled singer had a long battle with drink and drugs which overshadowed her recent musical career.

Last
month, Winehouse pulled out of the European tour after she was jeered
at the first concert in Serbia for appearing too drunk to perform.

She won five Grammy Awards for her 2006 album Back To Black
