KUALA LUMPUR: Former CEO of Perbadanan Usahawan Nasional
Bhd (PUNB) Datuk Mohd Nasir Ahmad has been elected President of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).
In a statement today, the MIA Council said Mohd Nasir took over the helm from Abdul Rahim Abdul Hamid.
It also said Abdul Rahim who retired as MIA Council member on July 15, was recently appointed to the MIA Council and elected as Vice President of the institute.
"Both Datuk Mohd Nasir and Abdul Rahim will serve as President and Vice President for two years effective Aug 8," it added. -Bernama
