Malaysia’s stock exchange said it reprimanded and fined Macquarie Capital Securities (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd and two former heads of dealing for inflating trades in several stocks over a period of eight months.

Bursa Malaysia Bhd, the stock exchange manager, fined Macquarie Capital RM50,000, Thomas Chin Yun Phin RM25,000 and Hilton Lee RM10,000, it said in an e-mailed statement today. -- Bloomberg
