Bonia posts higher Q1 pre-tax profit

Bonia Corp Bhd recorded higher pre-tax profit of RM31.625 million for the first quarter ended Sept 30, 2011, compared with RM14.742 million in the same quarter last year.

Revenue rose to RM152.233 million compared with RM102.447 million in the
same period last year, it said in a filing to Bursa Malaysia today.

The company attributed the growth mainly to higher sales generated and
revenue contribution from Jeco (Pte) Ltd. -- Bernama
