Tanjung unit wins Petronas Carigali job

Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd, has awarded Tanjung Maintenance Services Sdn Bhd (TMS), a subsidiary of Tanjung Offshore Bhd, a RM43 million contract to maintain mechanical rotating equipment at all Petronas-operated offshore platforms in the Sarawak operations region.
The five-year contract, supported by Tanjung's operations centre in Miri, can be renewed for another year.
The RM43 million contract is expected to contribute positively to Tanjung's earnings for the financial years ending Dec 31, 2012 to 2016, the company said in a statement to Bursa Malaysia today.
