LPI Capital records higher revenue, profit

LPI Capital Bhd has posted a higher pre-tax profit of RM200.053 million
for the financial year ended Dec 31, 2011 from RM181.307 million in
2010.
Revenue rose to RM902.729 million from RM751.726 million, a 22.3 per cent growth, it said in a filing to Bursa Malaysia today.
The company said the general insurance segment contributed to the growth.
LPI Capital is confident of increasing its market share and maintain
the favourable growth for the general insurance segment despite the
challenging and competitive business environment, it added. -- BERNAMA
