EP Manufacturing to buy Maju Expressway

EP Manufacturing Bhd, a Malaysian maker of automotive parts, agreed to buy Maju Expressway Sdn Bhd for RM1.2 billion.

The acquisition will be financed via a combination of cash, new shares and loan stocks, the company said in a statement today. EP said it will redeem Maju Expressway’s sukuk worth RM550 million. -- Bloomberg
