Kencana JV secures RM35m Petronas Gas project

KUALA LUMPUR: Kencana Petroleum Bhd's joint venture has secured a contract from Petronas Gas Bhd for two cogeneration plants valued at RM35mil.
Kencana said on Monday its unit Kencana HL Sdn Bhd and Shinryo (M) Sdn Bhd had inked a deal with Petronas Gas for the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of two cogeneration plants.
It said the plants would have a combined capacity of 50MW of electrical power and steam capacity of 120 tons per hour. The contract was part of Petronas Gas' Kertih gas processing plant.
