Tien Wah posts higher Q1 pre-tax profit

Tien Wah Press Holdings Bhd posted a higher pre-tax profit of RM9.123 million for the first quarter ended March 31,
2012 from RM6.522 million in the same quarter last year.
In a filing to Bursa Malaysia, it said the increase in profit was driven by higher sales from gravure printing segment.
Revenue rose to RM97.458 million from RM90.754 million previously,
attributed to the increase in sales of a major customer's contract, while earnings per share increased to 4.17 sen from 3.29 sen before. -- Bernama
