Ramunia arm wins RM177.5m Shell job

Ramunia Holdings Bhd's (RaHB) wholly-owned subsidiary Ramunia
Fabricators Sdn Bhd (RFSB) has been awarded RM177.5 million worth of
contracts by Sarawak Shell Bhd (SSB) today.
Under the
contracts, RFSB is to undertake the procurement, fabrication, testing,
load-out and tie-down of the substructures and topsides which include
jacket, piles and related components; and topside decks which form part
of the D12DR-A and LADR-A development projects offshore Sarawak, worth
RM53.4 million
and RM124.1 million, respectively.
In a
filing to Bursa Malaysia, RaHB said the contracts are one-off with
expected delivery to SSB within the second quarter of calendar year
2013.
"The contracts are expected to contribute positively to
the earnings and net assets per share of RaHB for the financial year
ending Dec 31, 2012 and 2013, respectively. -- Bernama
