Top Glove unit acquires PT Agro

Top Glove Corporation Bhd's wholly-owned sub-subsidiary, Best Advance Resources Limited, will acquire 95 per cent equity
or 5,700 shares in PT Agro Pramata Sejahtera for RM22 million.
In a filing to Bursa Malaysia, the company said it had entered into
a conditional share sale and purchase agreement for the shares which
would be satisfied via two tranches.
Top Glove said the proposed acquisition was expected to be
completed within 15 months from the date of agreement or any later date
as agreed by all parties.
It added that the proposed acquisition would not have any material
effect on the earnings or net assets of Top Glove for the financial
year ending August 31, 2012. -- Bernama
