YTL buys back 17.9 million of its own shares for RM36.5mil (4677)

KUALA LUMPUR: YTL Corp Bhd has bought up to 17.9 million of its own shares for RM36.5mil.
It
a filing to the exchange yesterday, the company said the buyback period
for a total of 16.42 million shares was between June 25 and June 29.
It purchased its own shares at between RM2 and RM2.06 each over the period for a total of RM33.5mil.
Additionally,
in a separate filing, YTL Corp said it had purchased an additional 1.52
million of its own shares for RM3.05mil yesterday.
It paid between RM1.99 and RM2 for each share purchased.
YTL counter closed 2 sen lower to RM2 yesterday.
