Nomad Group partners TGS Enterprise for network solutions (8508)
KUALA LUMPUR: The Nomad Group Bhd (Nomad) has appointed TGS Enterprise Network Sdn Bhd (TGS) as its telecommunications services and solutions partner for serviced offices in Southeast Asia.
Under the agreement, TGS will manage and improve the effectiveness of Nomad's serviced offices communication infrastructure.
This
includes centralising its communication server to one location, as well
as deploying voice mobility and unified communications, across its 12
serviced offices including in Singapore, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and
upcoming new centres.
This exercise will be implemented in stages over two years.
"We
chose TGS Enterprise Networks as our partner because of its proven
solutions using Siemens' IP telephony technology which is not only cost
effective but also flexible in enabling quick implementation and
solutions to our clients," said Roy George, Chief Executive Officer of
The Nomad Group in a statement on Thursday.
"Another reason why
TGS Enterprise Networks was selected is also because of the
geographical location of its support offices, which is where our
serviced offices are also located," he added.
With the
implementation of this unified communication system, Nomad Group's
serviced offices will enjoy savings on IDD calls with least-cost
routing feature using IP Phones.
There is also the convenience of using the one number service with a single DID number throughout The Nomad Group's network.
The
unified communications system allows serviced offices under Nomad to
route most internal phone calls over the same Wide Area Network (WAN)
while eliminating toll charges for local, long-distance, and
international calls. - Bernama
