MAS to fly to Kathmandu from Sept 1 (3786)

Malaysia Airlines (MAS) will introduce its thrice weekly direct
services between Kuala Lumpur and Kathmandu effective September 1 with
new promotional fares for the route.
Regional Senior
Vice-President Malaysia and Asean Region Muzammil Mohamad said the move
to introduce Kathmandu to the MAS network received overwhelming
response.
"We believe the natural grandeur of the Himalayas
and rich cultural heritage of Nepal is attracting travellers to choose
Kathmandu as a must-go destination," he said in a statement.
MAS is offering all-in return economy class promotional fares starting from RM1,299 for travel from Kuala Lumpur to Katmandu.
Customers can book the fares from now till August 19 for travel effective September 1 to December 31.
Flight MH170 will depart Kuala Lumpur on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 8.55 am to arrive at Kathmandu at 11.30am.
The return flight will depart Kathmandu at 12.20 pm to arrive at Kuala Lumpur at 7.15 pm. -- BERNAMA
