3.5 sen dividend for TA Income Fund
KUALA LUMPUR: TA Investment Management Bhd has declared
3.5 sen dividend for per unit to TA Income Fund unitholders as at July 31.
TA Income Fund has been giving consistent positive returns since its launch on May 6, 2002, culminating in 109.83 per cent in total gains as at June 29.
The fund has outperformed its benchmark FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI), which registered 78 per cent return in the same period.
Global equity markets have been volatile in recent months amid the prolonged debt crisis in Europe and the global economic slowdown.
"As such, we are cautiously optimistic of the future market growth. Volatility would continue to persist in coming months and we will continue to hold stock with good dividend yield and stable business," said TA Investment Management in a statement.
TA Inocme Fund aims to provide investors with an alternative longer term investment that provides a steady stream of fixed-income and potential capital gains from investments in bonds, money market instrument and equities.
TA Investment Managment funds are invested in both local and international markets by an experienced investment team. -- BERNAMA
