Tadmax in timber joint venture (4022)
KUALA LUMPUR: Tadmax Resources Bhd has entered into a conditional joint venture (JV) agreement with four companies for the construction of an integrated timber complex in Indonesia.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Tadmax said the companies were Bumimas Raya Sdn Bhd, Pacific Inter-Link Sdn Bhd, Yakin Dijaya Sdn Bhd and Al Salam Bank Bahrain.
“Upon completion, the JV entity, Tulen Jayamas Sdn Bhd, will undertake the business of processing timber logs from the complex into plywood, sawn timber, wood chips and other timber products,” it added.
The share proportion would be 50.5% for Bumimas Raya, 25.5% for Pacific Inter-Link, 14% for Tadmax, 2% for Yakin Dijaya and 8% for Al Salam. - Bernama
